We are snorkelers, not divers, but at Champagne this didn't matter. The bubbly waters are no more than 3 to 5 feet deep and there are some nice fish to be seen in addition to the warm bubbles. The sound effects were a real surprise! We went on a weekday and had the place all to ourselves but the friendly... More

We visited Champagne beach in 2008 and were simply blown away! We had 3 adults and 3 kids from 8-17 along with us and didn't book a tour, just grabbed a cab and paid the fee at the park and made our way down the long boardwalk and across the rocky rocky shores into the water. We hired a local... More

I'm a nervous, inexperienced snorkeler, but I really enjoyed Champagne Reef (I went with someone more experienced). The water was calm and the reef is close to shore, full of fish and bubbles. More

A very unusual experience. Bubbles all around as you snorkel the reef. More

Fish are there in close in reefs; not as many as at some spots but still in satisfying numbers and attractiveness. The bubbles are great; in those small sectors it does really look like champagne. More

Definitely the best shore snorkelling that we did on the island. Invest in the local guide - you won't regret it! More

After reading reviews and researching, we took a bus to Champagne from the port. $1pp, The admission was $2pp, we were offered a guide to show us the site for $5pp, but we declined as we had read that we could discover the site on our own. We chose to not where our fins, but rather our water shoes (keens)... More
