Just back from a week in Puerto Plata, Playa Dorada and now read Al's report which I couldn't agree more. My Hotel was the Victoria Golf and Beach Resort which was excellent if quiet. We had access to the much livelier sister hotel facilities whic also had excellent restaurants and water sports. The entertainment at the Gran Ventana was however... more

If you are looking to go scuba diving this is the place to go. Even if you have never tried it before, I highly recommended this diving school.
