Plaza has beautiful restored church, within walking distances (4 blocks) is a small cigar store with a 'roller' on site. This is in the Amber Museum. Worth the walk. More

This tour was super fun. We drove around the city to see the different lifestyles of the Dominicans. We visited the Amber gallery and got to do some shopping -my favorite part was the mountains -we went up there in a cable car! More

Visited the Brugal rim factory, a couple of jewelry stores, the amber museum, and an old fortress. Ended with a cable car trip up the mountain. This was a good trip, but there was too much time spent on the bus. We were hoping to do more walking in the city. More

The cable car to the top of the mountain was awesome! You can see 100 miles of the north coast from here and the views are outstanding. The city tour was so-so, they take you to a jewelry store where they make it by hand, to a historic catholic church then to wal mart? More
