Rancho Lorilar is a Canadian-based ranch located about 20 minutes away from Riu Bachata which is where I stayed in Puerto Plata. This place is awesome! It was recommended to us as the place to go in Puerto Plata for horseback riding and did they ever deliver. It’s a Canadian owned ranch and the horses are great and you get ample opportunity to do more advanced riding.
