The excursion that we went on was actually the Outback Safari (Countryside Adventure) through Sunwing. It was a full day of visiting and enjoying the DR culture. My wife and I really enjoyed this all day tour, especially the variety that was included. I strongly suggest sitting in the front of the vehicle. A freshly plowed Nebraska Corn field would be a more comfortable ride. They give new meaning to bad roads in this country. We were picked up at our resort at 8:45 bu our guide...Lezandro I believe his name was...GREAT guide....I would recommend this excursion to anyone who wants to learn more about dominican culture....Just an overall amazing day!!!! more

Bavaro Runners is well run and the trip was lots of fun. We had one hitch in that we booked ahead of time and paid, but never got confirmation. Our tour started at the resort lobby at 8:30 am when four of the Bavaro Runners trucks showed up. There was a little confusion trying to match-up guests by their native language.
