The bus ride was like a roller coaster. No seat belts and the bus goes fast. We had to tell our bus driver to take it easy on the corners, he drove like a maniac. Advice: go on the earliest run that picks you up at your resort.. this way you get to see more shows and don't waste too... more

Manati Park is quite rightly heading rapidly to the bottom of all the trip advisor reviews for Dominican Republic visitor attractions - this place is simply horrible. As previous reviewers have explained in detail, the staff around the food and shop area are overly pushy trying to sell all manner of tacky rubbish, as well as quite openly leering and... more

We had an opportunity to go to Manati Park while we were on vacation. When we arrived at the park, we were met by our tour guide Richard, who gave our group of six people a personal tour of the park. Richard was friendly, accommodating and funny and told us it was free to swim with the crocodiles. The park... more

This place is a disgrace. The animals are kept in terrible conditions and the staff are perverts. I went here in September 2009 and it was almost empty when we arrived with about 5 staff members for every member of the public. As soon as we walked through the gates we were harassed by someone with a snake and a... more

Visited Manati Park on June 15th 2009. I visited Punta Cana for 10 days. During my trip we planned to stay at 2 resorts. 5 days at one and 5 days at the other. Since we would have to checkout of first resort at 11am and could not check into 2nd resort until 3pm, we decided to spend the day... more

The dolphin swim was really good and The big sea lion kiss was good for Vera. The monkeys, birds and the iguanas were very interesting. The horse show was a little disappointing. We missed the bird show and the Taino Indian show :( We got an extra little show because one of the dolphins got a little [--] and wacked... more

Do not let anyone try to tell you that this a place to spend the day. Unless your child has never seen an animal other than house pets, please save your money. They reel you in advertising as a dolphin encounter. The dolphin encounter is only done once a day, at 2 pm. At that time, dolphin braclets sit on... more
