It is very private and quiet in the day, at nigth it may be some mosquitos, but if you use a repelent you,ll be ok. More

Our hotel was here, it was amazing. I couldn't find fault with any of it. The hotel was wonderful, the food and staff were fantastic and I miss it alot! More

I am not a beach person but when i went in the beach, there was nobody who could get me out. Just stunning! Definitely recommended. More

Very clean for a public beach, and beautiful views of Samana and Samana Bay. Has a small town set up on the beach with many different bars, open air eateries, and souvenir vendors. More

Great beach, great food, hand made drinks. Bring your own water if you go on the day trip, and ask maid to leave you extra beers in your room then you can take them over and not pay $5/drink.... lobster for $17 with sides grilled to order! More

Pack plenty of sunscreen, big sunglasses, and a hat. The beach is so beautiful you won't want to miss a moment. Plan to enjoy the freshly prepared food, a pineapple drink, etc. Absolutely the best piece of grilled (they call is BBQ'd) I've ever had. Nice beach. I went snorkeling and saw some huge starfish, but very few fish. The water was not as clear as it is at most islands. You have an area to shop for local stuff and no vendor hasseled us on the beach, More

scenery, water and staff. Disliked the villa was right on path and cart went by too often, weed eater started at 8:30 am and pillows not comfy and our bed tilted Food average, which for the price should be stellar More
