You have to bargain with the guides or they will gip you of everything you've got. They initially tried to charge us RD 1700 ($43 USD) for the both of us but we were able to talk it down to RD 1100 ($28 USD) without the lunch packet. I'm sure we would've been able to talk it down to RD...

First of all no one told us that the only way in was on a horse! The track was extremelly worn and rocky and my heart melted for the guides(one walking the entire trail per horse) and the poor horses! When we arrived at the end of the trail it was down, down, down on foot...Then up, up, up on foot coming...

This is a very busy trail with many large groups using the trail to access the falls. Each rider has his/her own guide who, supposedly, relies...

I would highly suggest that if you are not a fit individual -- dont go! There are alot of stairs to do and they are not very wide at some points but overall a great experience even with a sore bum... lol
As far as tipping it is your choice what to give and they are very grateful for what...
