I must let you know that the road to the black river there is really scary and very curvy. I do not recommand this trip if you travel with little kids.Travel agent at hotel will not tell you this, they want your money! More

My friend and I took this boat tour as part of Sunwings Black River/YS Falls/Appletons Distillery package. We took a seat right at the front of the boat which gave us the best possible view, which we definitely recommend. We saw 7 crocodiles and quite a few different species of birds. Mangrove Alley was stunning, and we kept commenting that... More

We spent 6hrs with BB (Bernard, who's a real hoot, we laughed so much) going from Treasure Beach to Floyd's Pelican Bar (separate review) and the Black River croc cruise in a fishing boat with outboard motor. We paid US$100 for the two of us which was excellent value as we were not in a group and had BB's full... More

Pelican Bar is located off the south coast near Black River, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, constructed on a sand bank in the ocean. This is my long awaited first visit to the bar. At the bar we had drinks and fresh seafood. The seafood was very delicious and cooked to order. There's swimming allowed around the bar, but visitors should not... More

Went as part of a day trip to include Y.S. Falls. The boat had plenty of room & good views. The guide was excellent & pointed out many things such as the crocodiles, herons, Osprey & other interesting flora & fauna. The boat trip (don`t be fooled that it is a Safari) was pleasant enough & was a good morning... More

My husband Dave, and I, Natasha took a tour of the Black River during our recent vacation. We stayed in Negril and hired a taxi for the day to take us to Treasure Beach on the south coast of Jamaica. We arranged a private Black River tour and a visit to Floyd’s Pelican Bar (see review) through Captain Dennis Adventure... More

The whole Black River experience was great fun. We saw four crocodiles, one was MASSIVE! (I added a photo) Our tour guide was great. There was a young guy smoking weed on the boat and I thought that was inappropriate since there were also small kids on the boat but other than that, great experience for all ages More

Was a relaxing trip but only us on the boat as it was late afternoon. Our captain was very knowledgeable pointing out all the wildlife. Only saw 3 crocodiles though but we did enjoy the trip. More
