We took a taxi from our hotel (starfish trelawny) - politely turned down all offers of ganja, because we had young children with us. The rules are simple in Jamaica, don't say yes to what you don't want - give respect and you will surely gain respect. The tour was beautiful and emotional - it is truly amazing to be... more

We went with a driver to Nine Miles. The community itself was beautiful. Upon arriving at the gates, we were accosted (there is no other way to put this), by several men, claiming to be working for the estate of Bob Marley. They said that the tours of the estate were booked solid for the day, and that we would... more

I advise anyone going to see this attraction to make sure and utilize a tour guide/service from outside of the area. My girlfriend and I made the false assumption that we would be okay driving there in our vehicle. The drive was long and difficult, but we made it just fine. Our problems began upon exiting the vehicle, when we... more

We booked this excursion through our cruise ship Freedom of the Seas. We do enjoy Bob Marley's music but mainly took it because we wanted to see some of the country side. That we did. Our excursion was the Chukka Bob Marley. It's a long trip but worth it. The road is one lane, very twisty & very windy. The... more

My husband and I visited Nine Mile on our Honeymoon. This trip is honestly the only way to truly experience the "real" Jamaica! We were part of a Safari Jeep tour and it was about $70 each. The ride was absolutely breath taking, so beautiful, like nothing I have ever seen! We soaked up every second, learned so much about... more

The long trip to Nine Mile from Ocho Rios is worth every second and every dollar. You get to see the real Jamaica. The scenery on the way is absolutely gorgeous. I went with the Zion Bus tour. The guide gave lots of information about Bob Marley and sights along the way. The bus stops for meat patties (and of... more

I was fortunate enough to set foot on the property Bob Marley once called home! I must say, I now feel a deeper connection to this man and his music after setting foot here. The scenery across the hills, coupled with the 'Rasta' atmosphere, makes this a worthy half day trip! My fiance and I negotiated a price of $120/US... more

Robert Nesta Marley's mausoleum is a MUST visit while in Jamaica. The tour guides are so friendly and Mount Zion helps to provide a spiritual experience. 9 Mile satisfied my soul! I will be going back! more

Myself and my 16 year old daughter went to nine miles on a tour in september 07. We had an amazing time. Our bus picked us up from negril and we had a wonderful tour guide who told us all about Jamaica as we drove to nine miles. The views are amazing and we heard lots of tales about the... more
