This place had some nice foliage, but nothing to write home about. I did purchase a photo ($8.00) that is very pretty with the landscape. more

Nice and not a touristy as Dunns River Falls. It's a really pretty place. It was a treat to find such a gem. I thought it would provide a nice setting for a wedding or other special occasion. more

Our family of 4 took a taxi from runaway bay. We have a 6 and 9 yr old, so thought Dunn's River Falls would be too much for them. The Mahoe falls are perfect. Definitely worth the $10 per person. When we arrived, there was a peacock strutting in the parking lot - kids loved that! First we did the... more

Our family took a private cab from the dock up the hill to Mahoe Falls for $40 return or $10/person/return. Paid $5/person for a tour of the falls and had a wonderful guide. We didn't have much cash left for his tip but he deserved a great tip as he took our pictures, helped us get familiar with climbing the... more

My family and I visited Coyaba Gardens on 11/03/08. The tour, which lasted about one hour, was fairly informative. We were provided with a great deal of insight regarding the plants and herbs native to Jamaica. For an additional $5.00 pp, we could have toured Mahoe Falls, which is located next door. We opted, however, to not partake in this... more

If you like botanical... more

We went to Coyaba in March 2008 and it was so very pretty. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about the plants. And he made sure we got lots of pictures of us with the plants. It was very peaceful because there wasn't hardly anyone else there. The tour took about a half hour and... more

My husband and I just visited Coyaba River Gardens and we highly recommend the trip. We went on an informative guided tour of the gardens which took about one hour to complete. The gardens consist of many local and imported plants, a small museum and gift shop. This is a must see - simply Heavenly! more

I have visited Dunn's River and YS Falls while in Jamaica and they were wondeful experiences. Yet none compares to the family outing I had with my family at Coyaba Garden and climbing the Mahoe Falls. We had a personal tour guide through a lush, beautiful botanical garden then up a stunning and fun to climb water fall. No human... more

When asked recently where I thought the prettiest place I had ever been was located...I had to say it was Coyaba River Garden in Ocho Rios, JA. I remember the wonderful sound of running water from the river throughout and the great variety of beautiful tropical flowers growing abundantly. A place of great peace and beauty that one wished you... more
