On this Girls' Getaway, we drove from Negril to Ocho Rios and arrived at Dunn's River Falls! What a fun place! The waterfalls were gorgeous, the scenery was amazing, and our guide was very helpful! We took so many fun photos in the waterfalls! We had a blast! I even picked up a cute Bob Marley tank top at one... more

We took JamaicanTours from Montego Bay. It costs $60 a person. This was THE WORST day trip I've ever taken. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere. First they took us shopping. This consisted of pushy salesmen trying to sell us the same overpriced, mass produced junk over and over. The "artist market" was no better. Dunn River Falls also... more

As a Jamaican living abroad, I brought my children and wife to see Dunns River Falls, only to find out that they rip ( tourist ) off . Why should I have to pay more than twice the rate the residents pay ? if you came to canada and go to Marineland you'd pay the same rate as everyone else.... more

Make sure you get to Dunn's River Falls. It is a once in a lifetime experience. Bring your own water shoes with grips or rent them for a few bucks on the way in the park. They try to get you to join a tour with a guide, but this is not mandatory. My husband and I climbed the falls... more

We took an excursion (Cool Runnings) to Dunns Falls - the boat left and took us out snorkeling first and then headed over to the falls - I did not know what I was in for so I was glad I followed the advice and didn't take my sunglasses or anything else. You WILL get wet - its not easy,... more

No matter what you are told ahead of time, take your camera even if it's not water-proof. The guides will keep it dry for you and will take lots of pictures while you're climbing. Do it! The water is freezing cold and the guides force you to jump in and go under the falls - I don't like people bossing... more

The dunns river falls is not for the elderly. it is quite dangerous to try to climb the falls as it is slippery, and you can lose your footing easily. if you do slip and fall you are going to get hurt. there is NO head protection offered here. the water is very cold. realy its just water flowing over... more

We stayed at a nearby Sandals resort and took their boat to Dunn's River Falls to "climb" the waterfall. We entered the park directly on the beach and not the main entrance up top/front. OK folks, when I thought we were climbing some waterfalls, I pictured maybe wading around in some water and climbing up some steps to look down... more

If you're on the northern shore of Jamaica, this is a must do. The Falls were only about 30 minutes from our hotel in Runaway Bay. I didn't research it well before we went coz I thought we'd be climbing alongside the Falls - but you climb right up the middle in the water. Don't take your camera unless it's... more

Just one comment, go on a sunday, when its quiet!!! it's amazing, if you go with a guide, give a tip, take water shoes, you can hire them for $7US or buy for $17US. If they do a video of you, it will be $40US no negotiating, it is amateur, but captures it perfectly!! I'm going to go back and take... more
