This is a tourist area designed for the cruise ships that call in. If they're not in, only half of the shops will be open. When they are in, it's a place to avoid. More

Island village is built on the side of the harbour where the cruise ships moor. It's trendy touristy shops sell mostly the same thing, clothes/local coffee/suveniors etc but at prices that are expensive. More

apart from the hustling from guys on the street to harassment from the bus drivers we made it to the plaza. it was well kept and the stores really seems busy and alive with the crew ship passengers. the little water falls in the middle of the mall to the small natural water falls that runs into a mini lake... We had time for a quick stop here after our tour. It was clean and nice and we found the stores had a great variety of souvenirs, including wood carved Jamaican items and t-shirts. Also bought coffee and rum cake. You can probably find anything you need here. More

Rents are going up so the prices are rising and the choice is getting worse. Used to be a great place to drink coffee but it has closed. If you don't mind smiling and saying no .... try going into town. The craft market is great if yo can take the high pressure sales techniques of the ladies! More
