First of all, 7 Mile Beach should be renamed 4 Good Miles because about 3 miles is not usable. On the plus side, everything is on the beach; the hotels, bars, restaurants...On the negative side, you get harrassed extensively by the locals to take a jet ski ride, buy a necklace, purchase a banana and if all else fails buy... more

An absolutely beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water. I highly recommend buying a bottle of freshly squeezed juice from one of the vendors working on the beach. It's delicious and for $3 american a good deal as well. You can also rent a sea-doo for about $30 for a 1/2 hour, maybe cheaper if you like bartering. Or get... more

I have been to several Caribbean beaches and Seven Mile Beach is by far the best I have seen. The sand is wonderful with no rocks and the water is crystal clear. The vendors do ask you to buy from them, but just say no and they go on to someone else. We rented jet-skis and the kids loved the... more

7 Mile Beach is clean, the water is crystal clear and warm. Many places to eat and buy trinkets. The boys on the beach will ask you to buy things and all you need to do is say no mon and they do not bother you. Very relaxing, people are great! more

The beach has beautiful sand, and gorgeous sunsets, but the constant barrage of beach vendors - especially the ones peddling drugs were quite an annoyance. They even bother you while in the water on board their jet skis. The vendors ruined what could have been a wonderful relaxing vacation on the beach. If anyone comes up to you and says... more
