The Bioluminescent bay trip was phenomenal, we went with Capt. Suarez and his Baby Bay Cruising Lagoon Bio Bay trip. We went on a flat bottom boat shortly after sunset. The moon cooperated and stayed behind clouds. It was so dark that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face which led to beautiful views of the microorganisms...

The wife and i visited PR for two weeks in Jan 2012 for our wedding anniversary. We took an excursion from Fajardo to vieques with Eastwind Island Cat, out of Marina Puerto Del Rey. Went in 2008 on kayak with granddaughter, so this time took the easy way on electric
boat. Only $49 per person with Bio Island. Can reserve online early. Got a chance to learn more about the channel and the Bay, all very enlightening (and illuminating!!).

Loved the tour, hated the ferry. Kudos to Gorge for helping us older folks enjoy the trip to the max. Fairly strenuous kayaking and snorkeling but all worth it.

We are going to stay in Fajardo and venture out from there. Fajardo is convenient for snorkeling, day trips to either Culebra or Vieques, El Yunque and...

After everything we read, we opted to visit the bioluminiscent bay by electric boat. Based on what we saw we were very glad we made this choice. We started the tour at 6 just before it got dark and we got a chance to see what the mangrove channel really looked like before it got dark. Our guide, Jeff, explained...
