Now, this is the beach to enjoy if you're in San Juan. It's quite a bit more peaceful than Ocean Park and you have access to the bars/restaurants in some of the best hotels in the area. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent for cheap. It's especially nice to go jogging in the morning.

It is one hack of a strip but every time I come and that is yearly it seems like there is always construction. :( too bad. If you are in Isla Verde Check out Pizzaiolo restaurant. Brazilian Gourmet Pizze OMG the woulds best pizza forget NEw York. try the shrimp turnovers and the shrimp Pizza Out of this world

We stayed at the El San Juan and there were many restaurants to walk out to. Also little stores to walk through. We felt safe everywhere we went near the resort.

Was only here for one day after a cruise, the beach was nice, it is a public beach so bring your cooler and cooker and enjoy the day.

Great beach, Great restaurants, Great bars/clubs... what's not to like??? The El San Juan and the Intercontinental are great hubs to make the most of your Isla Verde experience. Location of these condo for the beach is the best. The beach is wide and flat. The condo was remodel and very nice with a great porch for relaxing. The building is older but still was a good deal. It does not have all the fancy amenities of a 4 or 5 star hotel, but has all comforts of home....
