While San Juan Cathedral is a bit bland compared to the much fancier cathedrals of Europe, it is still a great stop. The simple style is still quite charming and you can see where Ponce de Leon is buried. In addition, I was very thankful for the sweet lady who operated the souvenir desk at the front of the church.... more

The church is beautiful. We happened to be there on a Sunday morning and the doors were wide open wil the sounds of the church service and the smell of the incense spilling onto the street. The greeter welcomed us and told us to explore and take as many pictures as we would like. The tomb of Ponce De Leon... more
