I love to relax here - read a book, lay back and check out the clouds, munch on piraguas (snowcones), watch kids fly kites with their old people, bring the dogs for a run and explore the outer parts of the fort... If you do go inside, you're in for a treat. There's a chapel, a lighthouse, cannons and cannon... More

This was my first visit to the location but had little time so visited in a rush. Will definitively come back, can spend an entire day there just enjoying the views! More

What a beautiful and well preserved fort. You can walk all over and around it. Fly kites on the lawn and watch ships sail by in the ocean. Not to be missed. Be sure to bring sunglasses, a hat, and water. There are street vendors and water in the little gift shop. You will need it. Afterwards you can walk... More

This is an excellent place to visit if visiting Old San Juan, the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because to park it's a nightmare, as far as I could tell there was nothing indicating there was parking dedicated for El Morro, so you need to go around and around in the narrow roads of old... Entrance fee was $4 for a week per person, including El Castillo de San Cristobol. El Morro was beautiful, and we loved every minute of it, and didn't have enough time to spend here. The only reason I didn't rate this as a 5, is because surrounding the fort there is a lot of trash. I loved walking up to... More

Nice walk and beautiful location; the price is right ($3 when we were there) and one paid entrance fee gets yo in all sites for a week. More

Add this one to your to do list in old San Juan. We discovered just how important PR has been throughout history. The succinct and informative displays were excellent and the incredibly cheap $3 entrance fee worth every cent. We had a great afternoon wandering around the fort and imagining the events this great city has seen. More
