The museum used to be her house. The walls are covered with photographs of her, her family and her political adventures. The guides are very informative and friendly. Did you know that "Don~a Fela" brought snow on an airplane so that the less fortunate kids could have a chance at seeing/feeling snow?! She also brought the idea of the Head... More

If you visit Old San Juan it is worth a stop at this tiny museum to learn about this incredible figure in Puerto Rican history. More

Is a nice place to visit, She was a very well known politician, a lady who loved to collect specially "abanicos". She brough snow just to allow kids ti see it and feel it. Nice gesture. More

Most people will give this (and museums in SJ in general) a miss, but if you have time, the former home of the popular ex-San Juan mayor is a rich little historical jewel. I received a one-on-one tour from a very sweet lady who was full of knowledge and stories about Dona Felisa Rincón. Pictures and gifts of world leaders... More

Went to this museum with my 72 year old uncle who lives in Rio Piedras. We were amazed at how much information was stored in such a small home. Dona Fela, as she was affectionately called, was a great Puerto Rican lady.There were letters to her from the Kennedys, Roosevelts, etc. Medals and plaques that filled walls. There were many... More
