We were really looking forward to visiting La Hacienda because my husband is a coffee lover. We were greatly dissappointed to not see any coffee trees. The history behind this place is interesting but I'm not sure it was worth the drive. I rate it average, visit if you are already in the area. more

Hacienda Buena Vista is an "engineer masterpiece of the 19th century" . For $7 you will learn and have a better idea of how important were the Corn, Coffee and Slavery industry in Puerto Rico's past centuries. more

This is an excellent place to visit. It is well kept, and the guides are great in explaining every detail and history of the Hacienda. There is a lot to see if you enjoy the country side, history, and botany. An interesting piece of its history is that some of the machineries were acquired from the antebellum United States.
