The Serralles mansion (it is NOT a castle despite the name) is probably the best thing for visitors to do in Ponce. The Castle was beautiful. If you love history you must visit this place. I have never in my life seen such a beautifully preserved treasure. Impressive architectural styles - imagine Italian villa and Hearst Castle in one. This home situated on a hill overlooking Ponce, was owned by the founder of the Don Q Rum distillery. Good parking access, regularly scheduled tours. Tour size enables a good view of the various rooms. more
