The horses are well cared for and the ride was well organized, but we were told we would spend part of the ride going faster than a slow walk, but that was only two minutes of a two hour ride. Very experienced riders were not allowed to deviate from the slow pace and the whole experience was somewhat boring. More

Awesomely bright fish streaking underwater. Starlight running off your hands or paddles. Do this as a kayak trip, but make sure your guide is licensed. The bay is hard to access, but oh so worth it. There's no place like it on earth. More

The highlight of the trip. Your tour guides are friendly, professional and intimately familiar with the island. The diversity of the trail is wonderful. You will see the island from a perspective otherwise missed. We went in the evening and it was the most romantic ending to our stay on Veiques. Worth every penny! More
