I like the place there is nothing to dislike... everything is right there, the shopping and all is in walking distance....

La Savane is an impressive looking park / garden. Unfortunately currently it looks messy and surrounded with fences due to reconstruction. (Nov. 2010)

Visited the park as part of a walking tour of Fort de France. Highly recommend a tour guide or a solid French language skill. Our tour guide was very friendly, spoke English beautifully and explained a number of things i felt i'd have known had i studied history, france, or napolean but didn't.
I would have liked to know more...
