It's a large, average, open air market. By water side is meant that it is by one of the canals on the outskirts of downtown Fort de France and not the sea. The Park title refers, I guess, to the adjacent Botanical Gardens which are really mediocre. It is not as tourist oriented as the indoor market by the Cathedral. more
