We took the trip to St Barths soley for the purpose to expirence this beach, and it was everything we expected and more, Cristal clear waters, fine white sand, untouched by industry, it is truly remarkable, In my opinion and that of many other beach conesours, top ten in the World, definatly best in the Caribbean. more

We did a complete tour of all the beaches in St. Barts and this one by far is our favourite - we got out of our rental car and walked through the small trail to the beach intending on doing a quick peek pit stop - It was such a lovely stretch of beach, perfectly blue water and white sand... more

Nice beach. Beautiful surroundings. Snorkeling is good. Only problems are that there is no shade and the wind is often pretty strong and kicks up sand all over everything. Also, there's nothing around so make sure you pack in whatever food and drink that you're going to need. My rating of beaches on the island: 1) Colombier - hard to... more

We were there in April 2008. Our first nude experience. We did not want to leave. It was fantastic being naked. It was just so free and I have always considered myself a prude. A bit windy though..Walk with loads of sunblock, water and umbrellas if you can. more

After a short 5 minute hike you will find a virgin beach w/no development whatsoever. The water clarity is unmatched. It is usually totally empty or very few people there. The sand is a fine white powder and once you strip down to your bare skin and become one w/the sand, surf and sun bliss awaits you. People are very discreet... more

Pristine beach - a short walk up a rocky path opens up at the top of the grass covered dunes - sugarfine whie sand - your fellow sunbathers are sophisticated, relaxed & respectful of your privacy - as you walk into the gentle surf turn around and look at the lush rolling hills behind you - no visible signs of... more

The beach at Grand Saline is my favorite, and a candidate for the best beach in the Caribbean. It's long enough for nice walks, with great sand (cool even on hot days), no rocks underfoot, no visible development to detract from its wild beauty, and it's never crowded. The body surfing was excellent every day we were there, and best... more

I traveled to St. Barts in the French West Indies with my father Fred Laplace, who lived in St. Thomas USVI back in the 1980's to visit my grandfather Marcel Laplace who has since passed away. I remember Grande Saline Beach. We will be visiting sometime in the next year to visit family on the Island.. It is a paradise... more

Bottom Line....Go Here Get Naked. Go to the eastern most end...you will see the area on the other side of the walkable rocks....it is most swimmable even on windy days. In addition if you are a snorkeler...dont be afraid to go on out close in and along and AROUND Morne Rouge Point!!! Great underwater rock formations and reasonable sea life........ more

My grandfather who is now deceased passed away back in 1989, my father brought me to St. Barths, because we have family and property there, still to this day. My father also lived in St. Thomas, USVI, he now lives in Florida, But in the future I plan on visiting with my daughter to show her and tell her about... more
