We visited the lovely Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on a weekday morning and were in awe from the moment we walked through its massive wooden doors. Neither of us is very religious, but upon entering we both felt a sense of serene peace and beauty. The quiet contrast to the island's chaotic capital is remarkable.
