OK, we sailed to Anagada three years ago. Two years ago we missed it because we all got sick. Next year we're going back come hell or high water--even venturing past the no insurance zone... Anagada is the coolest place in the coolest place we've been. Lobster may or may not taste technically as good as Martha's Vineyard or Maine... more

We are regular sailors in BVIs, but this was our first visit to Anagada Island. Anagada was a much quicker sail that expected. Coming for the south it looks flat and unremarkable. We anchored on the south side, snorkled close to shore (disappointing) and had a fabulous lobster dinner at Neptune's Treasure. Wished I had followed the reviews on Tripadvisor... more

A 2 hour sail from Virgin Gorda with dolphins following us and sea turtles the size of my kitchen table, out of no where comes Anagada. After mooring we took a open cab ride to Lob Lolly beach. In the BVI's a must-stop is the tiny island of Anagada. It offers snorkeling in Lob Lolly Bay that give you a heavenly view of crystaline waters and a possible swim with the turtles. After you rinse off the salt water (or not) you can head to a restaurant on another beach that serves freshly caught grilled lobsters and corn... more
