A white sandy stretch of beach with (currently) no vendors. Bring a cooler with your lunch and some nice frosty beverages and you'll be set for several hours of doing nothing but sitting on the beach, snorkeling and sunbathing. Not sure why other folks were so disappointed in the lack of amenities, it keeps the tourists away, which is sort... More

Great sand and very swimmable beach - my kids 5 & 8 had no problem playing in the waves. The food and drink stands right on the beach make this a great spot to relax and get some sun. More

Went snorkeling here today 5/23 and the minnows were once again super thick in numbers! The pelicans were diving like crazy for them. When we went into the water snorkel to your left along the rocks. Go slow! You can see so much if you just snorkel slowly. We saw these really neat worms, crabs and fish that would slowly... More

Not rocky but not much of a breeze and kept getting bit by bugs, it is beautiful however. More

The snorkleling is wonderful here. Crystal clear waters teaming with small minnows brings in lots of bigger fish like tarpon. The minnows were so thick the day we went it was like swimming into a silver wall. :) Fun! More

It was private, secluded and beautiful. Worth the drive through the seemingly private gravel drive. More

Quiet - great snorkeling, very relaxing beach. Takes a while to find, but once there, you'll love it. More

We made the trip to Smuggler's Cove on our recent cruise. We too read many reviews on this beach and decided to give it a try. We had a relatively white knuckled trip through some gravel roads but were ultimately greeted by a small but almost empty beach. There were two separate vendors that used to be there, but apparently... More

Maybe it was an off day but we were not impressed. We found fewer people at Brewer's Bay and at least there was a restaurant. Smuggler's had one vendor and he was renting beach chairs that had definitely seen better days a long time ago. There was evidence of other vendors having been there at some time or other but... I love Smuggler's Cove, always have. I met a lot of fun party people from all over on my last trip. We had a great lunch & terrific service @ Nygel's little shack. I also bought some awesome fun handmade jewelry from the Jamaican ladies next store. Go there early & camp out till about 3pm, when the sun starts... More
