Smuggler's Cove was our second favorite beach after Brewer's Bay on Tortola. I enjoyed the snorkeling because you didn't have to go out far or deep. We had the beach almost to ourselves. There was some trash in the bushes which marred its beauty. But overall a great beach! more

While on a powerboat expedition our captain made a pit-stop at smugglers cove for a few of us to grab some banana daquiri's and enjoy the views. There may have been 3 or 4 people on the beach total. It was absolutely gorgeous. Pristine sand, perfect water, amazing views. We spent a week bouncing around the US and BVI's and... more

It has white soft sand, beautiful, turqouise, calm water for swimming. The snorkeling is great. There is a even a stand that... more

Beautiful peaceful retreat. Good snorkeling right from the beach too. I will definitely return to this beach on my next trip to BVI. more

Smuggler's Cove is a great spot for lying in the sun, body-surfing some medium waves and swimming. The road to get to the beach is really bad, which seems to keep away big crowds. The beach at Cane Garden Bay is a nice beach, but it is a lot more crowded (also has more bars/restaurants). The beach at Brewer's Bay... more

Best snorkeling on Tortola (with Brewers Bay a close second). One vendor stand for getting drinks. No restrooms. The dirt road to the beach is not as bad as some say. Very quiet beach. more

We heard from various locals that Smuggler's Cove was the most beautiful beach on the island... in my opinion, they weren't kidding! There are only two (rather precarious) roads to access the beach, making Smuggler's Cove quite off-the-beaten-track. Make sure you have a solid car for this journey because you will either be four-wheeling it up and down a STEEP... more

Absolutely breathtaking. Private, serene, crescent shaped beach that never ends. No amenities, just beauty beyond belief. more
