I loved every moment we spent at “The Baths.” For practically nothing ($3 for adults) you could literally spend your entire day here. We were staying on the island of Torotla. From the Road Town Ferry Dock, we took Speedy’s Ferry ($30 roundtrip) at 9:00am to Virgin Gorda. I don't know if this is true for all ferries, but, for... more

The Baths were truly amazing! This was one of my favorite excursions on our week long vacation in the Virgin Islands. We actually stayed on St. John, USVI for a week in July of 2008. The ferry from St. John to Virgin Gorda cost $70 each and we left around 8:45 a.m. We stopped at the British island of Tortola... more

I went to the Baths with my parents in January on a shore excursion as part of a cruise. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The contrast between the turquoise water and the white boulders worked wonders. It's an easy 10-minute walk from the mountain top to the first beach. While you do have to climb over a big rock and... more

The Baths national park has beaches with white sand and crystal clear warm water. It's an amazing piece of nature with the large boulders and the path between them. The best beach is Devil's bay. It's great for swimming, sunbathing or just enjoying the spectacular view. I arrived to the British Virgin Islands on a cruise ship that anchored in... more

I'd be surprised if anyone on this planet wasn't taken by the beauty of this place. It's really amazing! We went with our four children ages 3, 5, 7 and 8 and we were hesistant about how it would go climbing through the rocks. Luckily, it really turned out just fine. There were a few times where we had to... more

My boyfriend and I spent 4 days on Virgin Gorda, and visited The Baths every day. It just never got old! It was unbelievably beautiful! And to top off the trip, he proposed inside one of the little grottos within The Baths. It was perfect! more

We visited Tortola by cruise ship on Friday 5th October 2007. I have given our visit an "above average" rating rather than Excellent, only because we had a lot of heavy rain that day. Also it's a bit of a cheek saying that this is a review of Tortola when we spent a large part of our time visiting a... more

My husband and I were recently at The Baths. It is a beautiful and totally amazing place. We took a 45 min ferry ride over from Tortola to Virgin Gorda and then a 10 minute taxi ride. There are two paths down to the beach. One difficult and one easier. The easy one was about a 350 yard walk down... more

I visited the Baths on a day trip to Virgin Gorda on my honeymoon several years ago. First, I must say, this is a place for active people, as you must hike through several slippery rocks and small crevasses to reach the beach...but the Baths are like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. If you... more

We took a cruise last spring which stoppped in Tortola. I scoured the cruise sites and found out that you could take Speedy's ferry to Virgin Gorda and a shuttle to the Baths. So worth it. Absolutely, hands down, the best stop of the cruise. When you get to the Baths, be sure to take the paths to the other... more
