two good things about this place i was there on a business trip so at least i can say " I have been to Hell & Back for my company" the other is that if you save your postcards to send home they will have a Hell postmark on them. however do not plan this as i day trip as... more
I was warned that Hell is overrated. It is - so don't plan your day around this destination. There are much better things to do in Grand Cayman - Rum Point, Stingray City, etc. However, if you happen to be going that way, stop in to see the rock formations and gift store. Unfortunately the devil was on a break... more
Grand Cayman was a stop over on a 7 Day cruise in the Western Caribbean. I found the whole experience so enjoyable, but my favorite place was Grand Cayman. The people there were so friendly. We took a bus tour of the entire city of Georgetown. Even the more blighted areas were decent compared to much of what you see... more

We almost missed the lava formation (which was all I really wanted to see) it is directly BEHIND the little post office. Once you give... more

After passing the turtle farm you have to weave back and forth--there is no clear path to Hell on this island. Where else are the directions to Hell dependant... more
Small Post Office and souvenir shop. Named Hell after the Lava Rock Formations. Years ago a Dignitary from another country came to visit the Grand Cayman Islands, saw these formations, said they looked like Hell and the name stuck. Since the tours only stop here for 10 minutes its barely enough time to send a post card from the Hell... more
There is really not much in Hell. I mean it looks like Hell. Its really just a stop for the post office and a small geological formation. There were 2 gift shops for those gifts from Hell. The Hell Fire Dept. Tshirts were very popular with my wife. Its a nice stop on the way to the turtle farm. You... more
