Beautiful warm beach, you can walk over 100 feet and water still shallow and warm. More

We must've hit Rum Point on a quiet day which was fine with us because there weren't all that many people there. The amenities like chairs, hammocks, bathrooms, showers were very nice to have available and the snorkeling was ok (kinda cloudy on the day we went due to overnight storms). Enjoyed the beach and a relaxing rest in the... More

The snorkeling is very easy as the water is smooth. A lot of small fish a few barracuda and a few spotted and small southern rays. Nothing alarming or scary. Later in the week I'll head out to the main reef and swim but I don't have a flag with me and the boats do cruise in that area. The... More

Nice beach, food and drink available. Clean restrooms, nice lounge chairs. Trip to stingray city departs here. Gift store on premise. I will definitely go back. More

We went here a few years ago on one of our trips to Grand Cayman and decided to come back with a few friends who hadn't been. The place is definitely pretty and when not crowded (i.e. no cruise ships in town) it's nice, probably not bad for families as long as you're not eating or drinking. But I was... More

Went to Rum Point by car and by catamaran. Red Sail has a catamaran trip 4 nights a week for dinner at Rum Point Restaurant. If you go by car or other watersport company, you can spend the day there at the beach swimming and snorkeling. There is a small shop with tee shirts, hats, sun block and other stuff.... More

The drive through the island to get here was very nice, we stopped at the duck pond to feed the ducks and iguanas. The water at Rumpoint was cloudy the day we went and when comparing it to seven mile, I was a bit let down. The food at the restaurant was edible but not impressive, mahi mahi tasted frozen... More

A beautiful, more secluded and private beach area with excellent facilities and perfect snorkeling. Well worth the trip from 7 mile! More

I love Rum Point. The trick, imo, is to get there early before the crowds come. Enjoy the quiet water, clean/untouched beach... and get some great pics. Save yourself a table... then the crowds come. I don't mind having many people nearby but I like having a table of my own. It's not overly crowded, but I did like getting... More
