I read so many reviews about the turtle farm before going so we only did the turtle part of Boatsain's beach. The guide was very good at explaining everything about the farm and where the turtles went when they were old enough to be let go in the wild, kept for breeding or sold for eating. I myself could not... more

We visited this turtle farm as part of a shore excursion while on a Carnival cruise in the western Caribbean. You and your children will enjoy it. There are tanks full of turtles that range from little ones up to huge 600 pound giants. During the tour, you are allowed to pick up some of the smaller turtles. On the... more

I visited Boatswain on Sept 3, 3009. This place is nothing like their website makes it out to be. The staff at the entry desk were VERY rude. They wouldn't even answer our questions nor try to find someone who would help us. They were so rude to me about my 2 year old; it was very inappropriate and offensive.... more

We took our 5 year old daughter to the turtle farm during our August 2009 visit to Grand Cayman. Very glad we took the full package. It sounds a bit pricey but you can really enjoy quite a few hours or a whole day there. We had some discounts through the Cayman Summer Splash promotion and a coupon from the... more

We went to the turtle farm on a Sunday when there were no cruise ships so it was almost deserted! We were able to pick up the young turtles and take a leisurely stroll around the adults. In the nature walk we saw a blue Anole (I think) which can only be seen in Grand Cayman .. a very pretty... more

This place was a waste of a lot money. I am still sick that I went here and wasted part of a day in Grand Cayman to attend this place. Do not waste your time on Grand Cayman going here. It was a joke and completely boring. The ponds/pools/lagoons are dirty and the staff is not very nice. There are... more

We took the kids to the turtle farm our first day at GCI. Though it was quite expensive for the full access, we thoroughly enjoyed it. I was blown away by the size of the turtles in the main pond. They were amazing. We bought food for the kids to feed them. My son then chased an iguana down the... more

This was a waste of money. The whole place stinks literally. I know they're turtles and they are not made of perfume but come on Sewers smell better than this. The shark tank hasn't been cleaned in so long you can barely see the sharks. The workers there were very rude (with the exception of 1 security guard who opened... more

We went to Boatswain's Beach in April 2009 with our 11- and 14-year-old sons. We were pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this park was. We got the full ticket, so we could see the Turtle Farm and also the iguanas, birds, snorkeling lagoons and shark tank. Large iguanas are everywhere! You can feed giant sea turtles. You can hold baby... more

Our visit to the Turtle Farm was a memorable experience. We came face to face with huge sea turtles and held several of the smaller ones. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. In addition to the turtles, there is a pool with sharks and other fish. This is a "must see" stop for any Grand Cayman visit. more
