Conveniently located just blocks off the cruise ship pier in George Town Grand Cayman, we chose Eden Rock as an alternative to the cattle car dive boats that the cruise line will book you on. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to Eden Rock from the pier, about 15 minutes to sign our waivers and analyze our gas,... more

We booked a resort dive for my son and I while stopping here on Carnival. Good reviews from Tripadvisor. Overall OK job, but the Resort course they offer did not do a great job in preparation. They gave a short review of equipment and procedures which was fine but then put you right into the ocean from their shoreside facility.... more

Having just popped in from a cruise ship we wanted some fast, quality diving. We walked down the street having heard of Eden Rock. We wanted to do a boat but they weren't going out that day. Not knowing the area we thought we were screwed. As it turned out 400 yards off the patio was some of the best... more

We rented 4 sets of snorkel gear from Eden Rock Dive Shop. The gear was disgusting. The snorkels had loads of creamy white slime in them, I can only assume it was months worth of spit residue. One of the masks they gave us was broken--a lens was loose and it leaked--making it useless. We were already back at our... more

If you walk from downtown George Town make sure you continue past Paradise Bar/Eden Rock by 100m. Eden Rock Dive Center offers boat dives, a great dive shop, lockers and a... more

My girlfriend and I did our 4 referral dives for PADI certification with Steve from Eden Rock. We were picked up and dropped off from our seven mile beach location both days. I think the location is perfect place to learn diving with two reefs at the centers doortstep. Additionally we did a lot of rate shopping and found the... more

As budget cruisers, we were thrilled to find such a friendly shop which allows folks to snorkel from their patio for free. Eden Rock is always a highlight of our limited time in Georgetown, much more fun than an endless round of shops! more

My son (14) and I finished our last two PADI certification dives March 13, 2005 with divemaster Paul. Eden Rock is an awesome location and Paul is an excellent divemaster. He taught us compass navigation skills that were missing from our classroom instruction. Saw lots of wildlife, including groupers, a sea turtle, and a barracuda. We'd like to dive here... more

It is located within walking distance from the water taxi from the cruise ship! Just make a right from the port and the side walk will take you right to the location! Plus you will... more
