THe resturant,The Lazy Turtle, is in an ideal setting but the staff were less than welcoming and made you feel that you were interupting thier day. The food was good but not special and there is no atmosphere. The beach looks perfect, a hugh stretch of golden sand but actually swimming there is not so good,There are rocks just under... More

We always stop in Tyrell Bay when cruising the Grendadines. Yachties from the world around stop here, and people are friendly. The achorage is well protected and the dry climate is nice. More

Tyrell Bay offers many restaurants and bars in one location and would be a great choice if your on a boat. We spent alot of time down in this area for dining and drinks, however, don't pass up other areas of Carriacou also. We have dined at many restaurants all over the island and all have far exceeded our expectations... More

I booked a trip to Carriacou after having looked around on the internet for diving. I’ve been to the Red Sea, Indonesia, and U.S.A. I really wanted something different somewhere unique where the underwater life is still alive. I saw there was 3 dives shops on the island check them all out but the dive shop Lumbadive English and French... More

Anyone travelling to Carriacou, do check out Tyrell Bay. It's a lovely natural harbour, has a couple of dive shops (Lumbadive and Arawak), a few simple places to stay and a few places to eat and drink at. Check out Lambie Queen on a Friday night for music. The Old Rum Shop is also a fun place, when it's open.... More

I have rated Tyrell bay as excellent but it all depends on what you are looking for. We have been to Carriacou 3 times and end up spending a lot of time here, there is nothing to do but drink some jack (jack iron the local rum) and chill out. the water is warm clear and clean and is usually...
