The historic synagogue was on my list to tour anyway and we were able to combine it with a nice Shabbot service which made our... More

Beautiful and well kept. A must see if you are shopping downtown. Has a sand floor and can't believe it has been kept up in great condition all these years. More

Im Jewish and my wife is Catholic and we've visited churches, synagogues and mosques all over the world. This is worth spending the time to see. Easy to find just above main shopping area. Cantor opened arc for us and read from the torah and explained the different ones. The history behind it was cool to learn. Can walk from... More

The cantor gave us a tour and showed us the old scrolls. She also opened one and sang from it. I enjoyed learning more about the history there, and I loved the sand floor. More

A most unusual and beautiful synagogue. We came back on Friday night for sabbath services, which should not be missed! A beautiful experience. They actually do have both a rabbi and a cantor, and they read from a type of Torah I had never seen before. It was also nice to meet some local Jews who came to services from... More

History buff. I don't think it's still a functioning house of worship. I paid a visit on my first trip to STT. Up the hill and to the right. More
