Great snorkel spot and beach is literally untouched with all it's natural beauty. A bit of a hike, but it is worth it at the end More

Just came back from a week snorkeling around St. John. After snorkeling around Leister Bay, wen walked out to the point to snorkel to Waterlemon Cay. The snorkeling was good off the point, rays, etc., but the current out to Waterlemon was too strong, and so we turned back. We then decided to try again a few days later at... More

After reviewing everything I could, I decided to do an afternoon snorkel at waterlemon with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law this past April. The hike down was nothing---flat, easy, maybe 20 minutes even carrying a bunch of gear. I'm not sure why others found the hike difficult. We decided to set up at the little crescent beach instead of going all... More

I would recommend this to anybody, it is a bit of a hike, and i would recommend going to maho bay camps and taking the heron snorkeling trip there. While you are there you might want to bring a fishing rod and go fishing at mary creek. It is some of the most wonderful snorkeling on the island. More

We went to Waterlemon the day after a heavy rainstorm with lots of wind. It is a moderately long hike out to the bay area, only a tiny strip of beach. Snorkelling was good along the "right side" of the bay facing out, but water was too rough for us to snorkel out to the small cay area. Be careful... More

St. John is a beautiful island and a wonderful place to snorkel. However, I would caution those who are used to Hawaii beaches to make sure they fully research St. John and Waterlemon Cay before going there (just to know what you're in for). We had a great time. St. John is unspoiled, and its beaches and snorkeling are pretty... More

Worth the hike. Nice swim out to the cay. Not the easiest entry to the water but not too bad. More
