We took the car barge from STT to St John and drove to Hawksnest. Great beach, parking was easy. The beach was nice and not too many people there. There are two reefs just off the shore, no need to go to deep. Great beach for snorkeling. I saw tons of fish here (better than the crowded Trunk) You can... more

A pretty beach but limited facilities and not that much to see as far as snorkeling. Trunk bay truly is the best snorkeling on the island. more

Hawksnest is less crowded than popular Trunk. Ignore the last post as being dangerous. (probably retirees from half-day cruise ship excursion ). This fringe reef snokle is as safe as it gets and always super fish and coral show! My favorite on St. John to relax and have fun with family. Enjoy! more

Not once, but twice we came instantly on coral that could have caused a very bad accident, but fortunately I was able to... more
