Regardless of the price, which wasn't bad for a five hour sail/snorkel experience, this is a first rate operation. Capt. Craig and his crew are both highly professional and a lot of fun...Snorkeling was good, not great (for that, visit the Virgin Is. or Cancun) but the sailing in the Bahama Trades had us moving faster than the noisy power... more
We went on this trip in August 2007. At first we thought they loaded too many people on the boat but once we got underway, everything was comfortable. We wnet on the Sunday trip which is five hours and includes a nice meal. Flying Cloud is worth the money. Snorkeling and relaxing on the beach was a great way to... more
I love snorkeling. I also always wanted to experience a sail on a Catamaran. This was the best of both. We had quite a few people on board but it had plenty of room to lounge around. We sailed to Rose Island. It took maybe 40 minutes. Then we snorkeled for about an hour. In April, the water is warm... more
I took a group of 19 people to the Bahamas and we went on the Flying Cloud Sunday snorkelling trip. The snorkelling was fantastic, lots of colourful fish and coral. Those in the group who did not want to snorkel were able to enjoy the sun on the boat. Lunch was enjoyed by all (especially the ribs! Mmm!) and the... more
My husband and I just went on the Flying Cloud's Sunday cruise on December 30, 2007. The Flying Cloud is a catamaran with a great crew (Kudos to Marlene, Kai, Joe, Sameko and Joey for giving us a super Sunday in the Bahamas). The Sunday cruise is a catamaran trip that starts on the docks in Providence Island and takes... more
We did the Sunday Special all day sail and snorkel and it was awesome. Captain Craig and his crew are so much fun. The catamaran is lovely, the snorkeling off Rose Island is great. Also, the Sunday Special comes with lunch (which is super tasty--spicy BBQ chicken, ribs, peas n'rice, fresh salad and fruit. You also get all the rum... more
We visited Nassau Aug 18-21st 2006. We booked the Flying Cloud Cruise for 1/2 day of sailing and snorkeling. This was an amazing day spent relaxing on the catamaran and sailing out to see the sights around the islands and stopping to snorkel just off of Rose Island. The staff on the boat was excellent and really made the day... more
I wanted to go on Suck My Wake (a reference to The Great Outdoors movie with John Candy,) but my wife didn't. I heard great things about the Powerboat Excursion from people who went on it while we were there. We decided to go on the Flying Cloud for a snorkel sail. It was the right decision. We loved it.... more
We booked the 5 hour Sunday trip and had a WONDERFUL time. The sailing, the snorkeling, the food, the crew, the view, the fun atmosphere were all amazing! It's a lot of fun and entertainment for only 65.00. Don't missed it! more
