The shallow water Dolphin Experience was quite dissappointing. The dolphin kept swimming away and we waited. It seemed the only interaction we had with the Jonah the Dolphin was to take the photos that they try to sell you later (at exorbitant prices!) I was originally torn between my deserve to meet the dolphins up close and personal, and my aversion to any activity that exploits animals. To my pleasant surprise, I found that not only are the dolphins treated well at Atlantis, but they enjoy the physical contact of human beings.
