Hey, Just as an FYI-- the "stocking island" that is described in the first two reviews is Stocking Island. That one is located across Elizabeth Harbour from Georgetown in Great Exuma. Its is in fact one of the best areas around the lower Exumas. Chat and Chill has it all and P & P's Hamburger Beach has Dora one great warm woman who makes da bes burgers and conch burgers around. Peace and Plenty in George Town (across the bay) is the place to stay if your not on a boat... more

Stocking Island has the best beaches to be found. The island has only one hotel, Higgins Landing Beach cottages, Chat N Chill, a Bahamian day time bar and grill, and a P & P hamburger stand; a few private residences; and miles and miles of beautiful beach!! more
