My husband & I spent a few glorious hours flying around the spectacular Ardverikie Estate on quads just after Hogmany this year. We were lead on this adventure by the lovely Matt who pushed and protected us to just the right degree, ensuring that we had a safe and exhilarating trip. We were home on a brief visit from Singapore... More

We booked for one hour Quad biking, 25 Clay pigeon shooting and the 4x4 safari. Wow!! We had such a great day. Our guides were Matt and Derek, they were both fab, really fun and put you at ease straight away. Was up in Inverness for my stag do with a group of 11 friends on the last weekend in August, and we went canyoning one day, and then clay pigeon shooting plus tomahawk throwing the next. The guys leading the activities were really good - really enthusiastic during the canyoning, which is just what you need to convince yourself that... More

We had great fun quad biking! Special thanks to Matt, our guide! The estate is beautiful, there some breath taking views, we got to see wild life, learn some new tricks on the bikes ans we cannot wait to go back and do some more. Absolutely worth it and a great way to experience the Highlands of Scotland! Quads are... More

We had a brilliant time Quad Biking with the folks at Highland Activities. We all started off as complete novices, but by the end of the 2 hours I think we could have quad biked up down or over anything! The instructors were friendly and fun, and told you just what we needed to know. More

We did two activities with HIghland Activities: the half-day quad biking tour and the clay pigeon shooting. We met our guide and were given a quick riding lesson on the quads, and then we were off. We rode on trails through old forest land where moss of all shades made humps beneath the trees and wild foxglove bloomed in every... More

We did clay pigeon shooting on our first day. We were the only two in our group and the instructor was very encouraging to us novice gun handlers. I was totally rubbish to begin with but managed to get five hits in a row during my first round. Was really sorry when this was over. Later in the week we... More

We did a quad biking trip with Highland Activites with another couple in mid July. The guides were very careful and patient with us and at the same time made it thrilling and fun. The scenery is fantastic. There were all kinds of trails on this huge estate. This adventure was top notch and a great way to get off... More

While on holiday at the Great Glen Water park in August 2010 we took full advantage of the amazing activities provided by Highland Activities as this was the main reason for choosing the site. We did kayaking, canyoning, cross country quad biking, white water rafting and the adults did 4x4 off roading (17 yr old daughter who has just passed... More

If you are in reasonable shape, you need to call these guys and go on a gorge walk. We are a family of four with teenage boys and this was a highlight of our Scotland trip. Beautiful scenery, somewhat thrilling, hike up the gorge, slide down rocks and jump off cliffs. Give yourself 90 minutes to drive to Inverness and... More
