We caught the bus to Niton and tried to walk to the light house. What a mistake. The only way we could see to get there was across a field. Not ideal in a pair of sandals. We were very disappointed. More

Very interesting history and factual tour of the lighthouse including D Day landings were practised on the beach also the reason behind the world war two bombing of the lighthouse, and the first radio transmission trials there by Mark Coney. More

This Lighthouse is hidden away but once you walk round the corner of the road and see it you'll never forget the view! Beautiful! More

Deffinately need a car to get to this location plenty of walks in the area and very pretty and plenty of totally whicked views More

It's on the south side of the Island and the walk to the lighthouse doesn't take too long to complete. Best to check if it's open before making the journey, as with all lighthouses which are open to the public from time to time. The tour itself is interesting and informative, and is operated by volunteers. Recommended. More
