This is my main atrraction in Pagudpud. The structure is just awesome and meaningful. Imagine supplying 40% of Ilocos Norte power!! Looking at it really awe me. The time taken to the Wind Farm is pretty far. Please do not attempt to go there by yourself. I know some travelers have been there by public transport but it is not... More

Visited the Bangui Windmills once again this year. To me this is one of the must-visit sites in Ilocos Norte. There are about 20 of these windmills that line the Bangui coast, these help provide eco-friendly electricity to the province. These were set-up during the time of then Governor now Senator Bong-bong Marcos. You have two options. One is the... More

This is truly amazing implementation on how to have alternative energy resource given the fact that Ferdinand Marcos Jr. were laughed at for proposing/creating this great idea then. The location is great for the wind farm since the wind is really strong! I can't keep my hair in place! For all the future traveler, your Ilocos Norte trip would seem... More

20 windmills placed along the coast of Bangui makes the province of Ilocos Norte self-sufficient in its power needs and promotes ecotourism. A must visit place when in the northern Philippines! More

Bangui Windmills in Ilocos Norte are not only gigantic and stunning to look at, they also generate power too. There are signboards along the road. Quite easy to find. More

We visited the Bangui Windmills just recently. Since it was December, it was really windy and you could feel tiny stones hitting on your skin. Bring sunglasses to protect your eyes. I think if it was summer, it wasn't that windy and you wouldn't have problem w/ the flying tiny stones. I read somewhere that there was a nearby coffee... More

Driving down the main Provincial Road, we saw the windmills from a far off. There was a view deck that we stopped at first and we could see the windmills along the side of the Bay. There were several vendors there, offering small versions of the windmills. The wind was blowing, and their little windmills were all turning. We continued... More
