While I agree with the other reviewer that the mercado is hectic and overwhelming to the senses, it is also one of the places you should go to if you plan on buying Mexican handicrafts. My husband and I went to the City Market just last week. We took the trolley into Juarez, and walked to the market. Be prepared. All your senses will be assaulted.
