Playa Condesa is right in the middle of all the action of the surrounding areas. The weekends on this particular beach tend to be very crowded but as long as you get down there by 11am you should have no trouble getting a spot under a shaded canopy or Palapa. I've been visiting Playa Condesa for almost 25-years now, and it remains my favorite beach in Acapulco. My most recent visit was April, 2006. We went there in August, maybe this could be an influence. Even when the springbreak and high-season were over, this beach is overcrowded and full of vendors.
