Our tour included a stop to see the world famous cliff divers. Truly an amazing sport, dangerous and even if done perfectly causes brain injuries from hitting the water. The divers are famous in the city and honored for the profession. I was amazed at their abilities. We got to say hello on the way out and give them a... more

This is one of the best attractions in Acapulco. You can go there in car, bus or taxi. The entrance costs only $35 MXP and it includes a bottle of water or a soda. They offer several shows at different hours. You better arrive early to win a good place. We didn't tried the restaurant, but it's a little far... more

The Cliff Divers, as so many others have pointed out, are really a must-see while in Acapulco. Unfortunately, we got there just before the 7:30 start time and didn't feel like battling the crowd down below so we watched from the road. Though we could still see the action and didn't have to pay the entrance fee ($3.50/person) it would... more

The only good thing that happened on this excursion was we got to see 3 cliff diver shows, I got my daily stair-stepping workout and get to know other couples in our group. A group of us went in two buses to the show and this restaurant and were sorry we did. The show was very worthwhile but the restaurant... more

I took a cab from my hotel (baby'o/Walmart area) for $35 to see the cliff divers. I made a reservation at the restaurant and was seriously sorry I did. The show was amazing, but I wish I would have paid the 3.50 and watched them outside. You get to watch them dive and climb back up the cliff about 3-4... more

We arrived at La Quebrada in time for the 12:45 cliff diver show (which actually started at 1:00). Admission was U.S. $3.50 per person, which includes a cold drink. The divers also give you the opportunity to tip on your way out. We stood about halfway down, and had a good perspective for pictures. We were as impressed with the... more

We were there on a Friday, 3 Feb 2006, and it was a wonderful show--incredible to me. We stayed for two shows. There are more shows on the weekend nights and the last of the evening apparently is done with divers holding the torches extinguished as they hit the water. We did not stay for that, maybe next time. Or,... more

Something you must see, I went for the last show, @ 9pm. Costs $3 for the viewing platform, by far the best view. At night they jump with torches and the area is very well lit. $3 cab ride from anywhere in acapulco, if you try hard you can get there for two. I say a definte must go. more
