I went here with my fiance when we visited Mazatlan last summer (June 07) and we had a blast! I think that the market is the best way to experience a culture. It is always fun to see the different foods available to the locals. There is also a ton of cheap goods being sold. Where else can you see... more

Very interesting to see, but you do not want to spend too much time there. DO NOT go to the bathroom there! One of us paid 3 pesos to a lady for some toilet paper to use the "hole" in the ground. The Cathedral is across the street (SW) and across from the cathedral is a 3 level department store... more
