Unlike all the other reviewers, I would not recommend the Aroma Spa. Weeks before taking a cruise to Mazatlan, I booked two couple massages - one for my husband and I, and the other for my sister and brother in law. Both were to start at 3:00. When we got to the spa, we thought the taxi had dropped us... more

My husband and I just returned from a 7-day cruise down the Mexican Riviera with family and friends (ending 09/14/2008). A family member had discovered Aroma Spa online and booked a massage for himself. Since it was pouring rain the day we were in Mazatlan, we decided to see if we could get a couple's massage (better than running around... more

I traveled with 2 friends to Mazatlan. A waiter at a restaurant gave us the recommendation to go to Aroma Spa. I get regular massages here in the states, and I've had them at other vacation cities. None of them compare to the one I had in Matazlan. Another review mentioned the simple decor, and they were right - if... more

I spent 5 days and nights with my Family in Mazatlan during June of 2008 and I had three visits to Aroma Spa. Aroma Spa ended up being one of the most enjoyable parts of my Mazatlan experience. Aroma Spa is in old town (not downtown) Mazatlan. You will find them between the Sprimp Bucket and the old town plaza... more

I visited the Aroma Spa Feb. 1/08. I did not have an appointment. On the positive side, the massage was inexpensive (though they said the price was not $15 as advertised on their website but $25 for a relaxation massage) and they were able to fit me in on short notice. I go for a monthly massage at home at... more

My wife and I travelled to Mazatlan early to mid December of 2007 for two weeks. I pre-arranged two massage appointments with the Aroma Spa, also known as the Royal Spa, through a personal concierge service to which I belong. I was intending on surprising my wife, and though she acted surprised, she definitely felt great afterwards. I booked two... more

While on a Holland America cruise the first week in Dec 2007, three of us took the short cab ride ($6 US) to the Aroma Spa. We each had a 1 hour massage + 1 hour salt scrub for a total of $36 plus we tipped another 20% for the great service which was the highlight of our trip. We... more

I was in Mazatlan in July and my mom told me to check out the royal spa while I was there. I was a little aprehensive considering $15 for and hour massage. I was very impressed. They were very clean, friendly and professional. I will definitely go there again. I wish they would get a web site so I could... more

I have been to Mazatlan several times and have always wanted to try the Aroma Spa (previously known as Royal Spa) I never took the plunge until this year and am I glad I did. I have had a couple of massages out at PB Emerald Bay. While they were very good they were also a little expensive. I have... more
