There is something about old town that is magical. Right on the Bay of Banderas with the cathedral in the heart of old town. Maybe something to do with Liz Taylor putting it on the map! More

We stayed in old town,my fav! Fruitstands eveywhere, shrimp tacos at Marismas, a little taco stand, with delish tacos, located just before the winding turn, if your'e on 65 cent bus, one way. Almost at the end of Basilio Badillo Cheap, and good food. Blue Shrimp, expensive rest. but great Coconut Shrimp. And if you order a drink, you can... More

Our timeshare is in this part of town, and we love looking while walking around. It is a steep climb, but worth the work when the veiws are so beautiful. More

We were able to have lunch at the River Cafe that reminded us of the Puenta de la Fuente that we visited years ago. We also visited the Cigar Factory and were treated to some interesting facts about the town and its growth. More

We travel to PV over Easter and find it very exciting to watch all of the locals at night. They take Easter week very seriously and the city comes alive in Old Vallarta. Many side vendors showing their wares, locals dancing in the streets and the energy is contagious! More

Jusat wandering around the old town, the smell of foods, seeing Mexicans going about their daily business. trying out something new, I work on needlepoint and had run out of a specific colour yarn, but asking around I came to this tine ancient hidden little shop which was a treasure trove for yarns, and all sorts of interesting things More
