Environment: If you want to see other Americans confused and resorting to their mall manners, then this is the place to be. Everything varies wildly in price, starting at high and going to crazy, and it seems like every store has exactly the same merchandise. It was kind of Tijuana like to me. If you are afraid or don't want... more

We walked the Malecon almost every night. I couldn't get enough of it. It was so fun being immersed in the cultural. We always went at night and then picked a restaurant on the waterfront. There is a pirate ship tour everynight and as part of their show they shoot fireworks from the ship. If you are eating dinner on... more

After walking through town we ended up on the boardwalk. It has many different types of statues, some very eclectic and beautiful. Bring your camera for sure! We were also impressed by how clean it was kept, at one point we saw a town worker actually scrubbing the silver garbage cans. We were very impressed by how much pride the... more

Just got back from PV and spent alot of time stroling along the Malecon. What a cool little boardwalk along the coastmust be special when there are whales in the bay. Although it was extremly hot (be sure to reapply suntan lotion) even at 7- 8 pm. Me and my g/f had a blast during our stay they had a... more

The Malecon was a great place to walk around and explore. There were a lot of gift shops, high end shops and flee market style shopping. There is also a lot of live entertainment and art to see along the walk (don’t forget to tip). The views were beutifal so you do not want to forget your camera. This is... more

The Malecon is a beautiful waterfront promenade that runs from the beginning of the Centro to the edge of Old Town. Besides some interesting shopping destinations and galleries, it offers free live entertainment, a market offering souvenirs, artwork, and carts selling local food treats. The beach along the Malecon is peppered with some of the most skillful sand sculptors I've... more

The Malecon and downtown in general are a lot of fun. Plenty of food, drinks, and atmosphere. We ate out every night we were in PV and liked every place we went, except Carlos O'Brien's. We had a coupon for the place so we thought to try it. I should have known by the "Welcome cruise passengers" sign that it... more

A must see, a previous review was incorrect the Margartias are a dollar only 10 pesos! We enjoyed the Cheeky Monkey and have put it on our list of things to do when we return. Its right in the middle of the boardwalk, the view is great for people watching. more

The sand sculptures along the beach were amazing and quite interesting. We took several photos. We shopped along the Malecon too and bought some very nice artwork. I had a huge piece of chocolate cake (purchased from a woman selling baked goods on the Malecon) one night and it was fantastic. Some nights there were performers along the Malecon and... more
